The Future of Traditionally Mouth-Blown Wine Glasses
A larger polishing cloth allows for more versatility and functionality. Ideal for polishing and maintaining extensive wineglass collections. With 1000 by 1200 ml in size, the Cloth XL is made with 80% polyester and 20% polyamide for crystal-clear wine glasses and decanters with little effort.
Expert research and design take top priority in every Grassl Glass product brought to market.
Artisans follow a traditional mouth-blown process for ultra-thin and lightweight glassware.
Durable enough to withstand your dishwasher without shattering or clouding.
Using only the purest glassmaking material in a controlled environment to avoid impurities.
An oxy-fuel fired furnace melts glassmaking sand, soda, dolomite, potassium, potassium oxide and recycled glass. The result is a 1700°C hot, lead-free molten mass resembling the composition of pure rock crystal.
Twenty years of glassmaking experience are required to consistently craft the Grassl Glass Collection. Five artisans are needed to produce a single stemmed glass during the hot-shaping phase. Followed by a slow-cooling process with an additional five steps for finalisation.
All Grassl Glass designs are based on core principles of functionality and usability. Whilst the Vigneron Series is built on the feedback of the most renown winemakers today, the Elemental Series focuses on the absolute essentials of wine drinking.
